The First Craps Online

Probably the most widely played casino game in the United States, Craps has appeal for both the novice and the veteran player. To the veteran player, it provides the fastest opportunity to make money. Decisions on many bets are made in seconds with every toss of the dice in Casino. No other game offers as much variety of plays and decisions, many of which have to be bet on almost instantaneously.
With the exception of Baccarat, it is the only game where the player can take the same position as the house as far as the wagering is concerned. A player can bet against the shooter, make long shot bets, or even lay odds that the shooter won't win! With thirty-six different possibilities of falling, the dice provide lots of entertainment and excitement.

Opportunity To Toss The Dice

In Craps, every player gets an opportunity to toss the dice. This is unique in gaming. It allows the player to feel as through he has some control over the outcome. It also helps to convey the impression of honesty at the tables. After all, you, the player, are actually throwing the dice. The dealer and other house people are there only to make payments and to collect losing wagers! It is for these last few reasons, too, that the novice, or beginning player, takes such an interest in the game. There is even confusion as to whether you refer to the shooting of dice as a toss, or a roll. For the purposes of this text, I prefer to call it a toss. The entire series of tosses that a player makes from the come-out to the decision, form the Roulette game.

Betting With The Dice

The very first toss of the dice is called the come-out toss. Let's assume that the shooter is betting with the dice. If the come-out toss is a seven or eleven, the shooter wins. If it is a two, three, or a twelve, the shooter loses. In either case, the next toss is also called a come-out toss. If the toss is other than two, three, twelve, seven, or eleven, it establishes the point number. There could conceivably be quite a few consecutive come-out tosses on a very busy table if the shooter continues to throw sevens, elevens, or any of the craps numbers before establishing his point. All subsequent tosses are not referred to in any specific manner.
The toss of seven sometimes referred to as a natural, pays off even money on a come-out toss to all pass line bettors before a point is established. It pays off even money to all don't pass line bettors after a point is established. All other bets, except those made directly on the seven at the correct place on the layout, lose on the toss of seven, except as noted above.
Two, three, or twelve, is called craps and is a losing toss on a come-out toss to all pass line bettors; a winning toss paying even money to all don't pass line bettors, on a come out toss, with the exception of the toss of twelve which is barred on the don't pass line and the don't come line. The reason for the barring of the twelve will be explained in a subsequent section.
Dice that stay on the table are legal no matter what they might hit or where they might land. The highest edge showing is the face that counts. Dice that leave the table are not considered a legal toss and are called no dice or no roll in Online Casino. They do not count for that toss. However, you must also be aware that once you place a bet on the pass line, it cannot be removed until a winning or losing toss is made. It is an irreversible bet.
